About Glow Foundation

“The Glow Foundation helped me get to San Jose State. They helped me understand my tuition bill, find scholarships, and then awarded me the last $2,000 I need to enroll in a freshman year.”
Why College?
Listen to Glow Scholars share what motivates them to go to college.
Glow Foundation was founded in 2006 to address the financial barriers that highly motivated and capable, low-income students face in attending and graduating college.
Our MISSION is to provide financial education, mentoring, and scholarships to high potential, college-ready students from under-resourced communities. By using college financing, the first major financial event for most students, as a platform for financial education, Glow Foundation not only helps low income students get access to college education, but also provides students with the critical financial literacy and planning skills that will help them succeed beyond their schools years.
OUR VISION is that ALL qualified, highly-motivated students, regardless of their income level, should be able to afford and graduate from college and reach their greatest potential.
OUR SOLUTION empowers students to proactively plan and seek their own funding for college and close the last dollar gap with unmet need scholarships. (More about our Solutions)
